Whistler / Blackcomb B.C.

"Go to heaven, Ski like hell" this saying rings true in Whistler B.C. It could be snowy at the bottom and sunny on top, or visa-versa. The people are nice. The food is great. The snow is perfect. The drive from Vancouver to Whistler, "Sea to Sky Highway", is so incredible is will burn a memory in your head that you will take to your grave. Beautiful!! This is a year round resort so don't be picky, go anytime and you will have fun. Skiing, biking, tree Zip-lines, hiking, fishing, golf, you name it, they have it. Only down side is the US dollar is sucking and they know it. You will have to pay to play.

Caribou Creek Trail, CO

The Caribou Creek trail in the Roosevelt National Forest is a great 4x4 trial to see the colorful aspen trees. Just outside of Nederland Colorado, this trail has a sweet mile (?) long section that will push the limits of any stock 4x4. With big mud and washouts, this section is a lot of fun and will test your driving skills. We made it through without any damage to our stock Cherokees. The rest of the trail is a rough dirt road with no obstacles so taking in the views is easy to do while driving.

Centennial Cone Park, CO

Jefferson County Open Space has done a great job on the Centennial Cone trail!
This is a sweet singletrack. This is a ball-buster 13 mile loop, so come in-shape. However, ALL obstacles and switchbacks can be ridden. New to Jeffco is a "alternating use" weekend schedule for this trail. Bikes on even dates, hikers on odd dates - this way, no one gets bent out of shape. (if the children can't get along, separate them) good idea! This trail has great views of Hwy 6 and the Golden Gate area. This trail is VERY worth it.

Green Mountain Trail

Hey - Riding the Green Mountain Trail (aka. William Frederick Hayden Park) near I-70 and E470 Highways in Golden, Colorado. Trail is groomed singletrack for the majority. Rollercoasters up and down all the way around. One big climb gets you to the top on either side. Fun but not much to look at. Usually dry when other trails are soggy.
